Tetiaroa Atoll is located in the French Polynesian Islands. The 4.5 mile wide atoll is comprised of 12 motus. (Small islands) Tetiaroa is located just 36.5 miles (59 km) from Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia on the island of Tahiti.
